Apple's Chief Financial Officer, Peter Oppenheimer, is reportedly heading for an exit from the tech giant to join Goldman Sachs' board of directors.

Announcing Oppenheimer's retirement, Apple said that current Vice President of Finance, Luca Maestri, would replace him.

According to CNN, Oppenheimer has overseen a period of massive growth at Apple since his appointment in 2004, when the tech giant's market value catapulted 54 times to $ 471 billion.
