 "Iran to attack US interests if attacked")
The interests of the US in the region will be completely destroyed in case it carried out any military attack against Iran, a senior Iranian commander said Saturday.
Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri, the deputy chief of the Staff of Iran's Armed Forces, said that the US government knows that the military option against Iran was not practical, Xinhua quoted Jazayeri as saying during an interview Friday in response to earlier comments by US Secretary of State John Kerry.
On Thursday, Kerry said that the military option was still on the table if Iran did not live up to its nuclear commitments under the Geneva deal signed in November.
