CAG Recruitment rules: The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) has released a notification inviting comments on the proposed recruitment rules to the posts of auditor and accountant on its official website at cag.gov.in. Stakeholders have been advised to share their comments through the prescribed format by February 19, 2021. The notification includes a state-wise break up of posts tentatively to be filled in 2021.
According to the notification, around 10,811 vacancies would be filled up out of which, 4,402 vacancies are for Accountants and 6,409 for Auditor Posts. The candidates can check the proposed eligibility criteria below including age limit, selection criteria and other details.

How to share comments on CAG recruitment proposed recruitment notice?
Candidates can submit applications through the offline mode. The applications will be submitted at Shri V S Venkatanathan, Asstt. C&AG (N), O/o the C&AG of India, 9, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, New Delhi- 110124.
CAG Recruitment 2021: Educational qualification (as per the CAG notification on draft recruitment rules)
Candidates need to have a graduation degree from any recognised University/Board/Institute or equivalent.
The age limit is between 18 years and 27 years. Age relaxation is applicable to candidates falling under specified reserved categories.
CAG Recruitment 2021: Pay Scale
The pay matrix fixed for CAG Auditor and Accountant posts is Level- 5 (Rs 29,200- 92,300).
