| Inaugurating the satellite centre of the J D Birla School of Management, S K Birla, chairman of the institute, said it would introduce a center for enterpreneurship in next year. |

| "A management course in enterpreneurship was required in the country, especially in West Bengal," he added. |

| B K Jhawar, chief of the advisory board of the management programme, stressed on the primary objective of the institute which was to instill a spirit of enterpreneurship among the students. |

| The institute and the course was selected by the British Council for international links with British Universities and selected in its inward mission programme to UK last summer. |

| Recently, the business schools on Northumbria University has signed an articulation programme with the institute for post graduate link with its business programmes. This would ensure a fast track MBA in UK for all students of the institute. |
