Knowledge Academy, Ambedkar Open University launch BBA program

Knowledge Academy, an initiative of Lalbhai group, has joined hands with Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) to offer a BBA program with specialisation in banking and insurance through authorised study centers.

According to Milan Shah, director, Knowledge Academy, "The launch of the 'Power BBA' program is driven by twin facts. Firstly, there are not enough seats for BBA degree in the traditional university system. During the current year, for about 1200 seats there are over 5000 applicants. Our academy seeks to provide an opportunity to those students who would be deprived of admission but have strong aspiration to pursue BBA. Secondly, the three-year 'Power BBA' program is designed keeping in mind the financial service sector as one of the largest recruiters."

BAOU is established under and Act of Gujarat state government. "Let me assure you that the degree of BAOU has the same value as that of any other traditional universities in the state of Gujarat," said Manoj Soni, vice chancellor, BAOU, Ahmedabad.
