Scholarships worth $70k up for grabs in Toefl

Students can avail of 21 Test of English as a Foreign Language (Toefl) scholarships totalling $70,000: One for $10,000 and 20 of $3,000 each. Students can start an undergraduate or graduate programme in 2013 at one of the more than 8,500 colleges or universities that accept the Toefl test and are listed in the Toefl Destinations Directory.

The deadline for applications for the Toefl Scholarship Programme, 2013, is April 30.

Toefl is a widely-accepted English language assessment. It is recognised by more than 8,500 institutions in more than 130 countries, including Australia, the UK, Canada and the US.

The Educational Testing Service (ETS), a US agency, conducts Toefl. ETS serves individuals, educational institutions and government agencies by providing customised solutions for teacher certification, and elementary, secondary and post-secondary education.

TOEFL test, most widely-accepted English language assessment worldwide, recognised by more than 8,500 institutions in more than 130 countries, including Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. To date, more than 27 million students have taken the TOEFL test.
