The XLRI School of Business and Human Resources has received a good response for its pre-placement offers (PPOs) and pre-placement interviews (PPIs) for the 2008-2010 batch. Organisations that have provided placement offers to the students include FMCG major Hindustan Unilever and general management companies like TAS, Aditya Birla group, L&T and WNS.
“We are expecting more offers from the financial and consulting sectors in addition to the other sectors during the month of August and September as the hiring decisions are finalised by most of the companies during the second quarter. Students are hopeful of better placements and internships in the year ahead,” says E Abraham, director, XLRI School of Business and Human Resources.
