Accel Frontline hit the upper circuit as it rose just under 5 per cent to Rs 60.15 as it announced that it had been awarded a contract by the Centre for Railway Information Services (CRIS) for installing and maintaining smart card-based automatic ticket vending machines across the Western and Central Railway stations including suburban stations. The project is to be implemented in phases with 300 ATVM's to be installed in the first phase.

However, given the expected increase in the volume of passenger traffic, the demand by the railways may also rise further in the future. The current price is however much below the scrips' 52-week high of Rs 120.5.
