Ahluwalia Contracts rose 5.6% to Rs 105.70 on the BSE after the firm confirmed that its board will meet on 1 July 2014 to consider a proposal to issue additional shares to the promoters of the firm on preferential basis.

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Limited (ACIL) is one of the largest civil contractors involved in diverse areas of infrastructure development in India and abroad.
 
Shares of Ahluwalia Contracts opened at Rs 105.2 and touched a high of Rs 106.9 and a low of Rs 104.6on the BSE.  A total of 26,372 shares were traded on the BSE so far.
