Alstom Projects has raced ahead after announcing plans top set up a power generation equipment manufacturing plant in collaboration with Bharat Forge. The stock is trading at Rs 552, higher by Rs 13.15 or 2.4%, on the BSE. It had opened at Rs 540 and has touched a high of Rs 556 and a low of Rs 540 thus far.
Alstom - Bharat Forge will set up the Rs 2400 crore facility over 120 acres with capacity to manufacture 5000 MW high efficiency power generation equipment per annum at Mundra SEZ of Mundra Port and Special Economic Zone Ltd (MPSEZ).
Bharat Forge is trading at Rs 272, higher by Rs 1 or 0.4%, on the BSE.
