Asian markets end flat; Hang Seng down 68pts

The Hang Seng slipped 68 points to 17,476. The Nikkei added 54 points at 9,345.

The Shanghai Composite dropped 25 points to 2,651.

The Straits Times was up 13 points at 2,273 and the Seoul Composite advanced 7 points to 1,436.

The Taiwan Weighted ended flat at 6,704.

Asian markets are mostly flat today on grim economic outlook buoyed by a record drop in Japan's GDP.

Japan's Nikkei has advanced 45 points to 9,36. The Hang Seng has dropped 73 points to 17,471.

The Shanghai Composite and the Seoul Composite are flat at 2,668 and 1,433, respectively.

The Taiwan Weighted has added 48 points (72%) to 6,703. The Straits Times is flat at 2,262.

The Hang Seng has declined  47 points to 17,496 . The Nikkei has advanced 40 points to 9,330 .

The Shanghai Composite has dropped seven points to 2,669 .

The Straits Times has slipped three points to 2,257.

The Seoul Composite is up maginally at 1,429 and the Taiwan Weighted has added 32 points to 6,687.
