Asian markets end in green; Hang Seng up 2%

The Hang Seng advanced 369 points or 2% to 20,290. The Nikkei added 32 points to 9,963.

The Shanghai Composite Index was marginally up, three points at 2,985.

The Seoul Composite Index increased 2% and the Taiwan Weighted Index was firm, up 1%, respectively.

The Straits Times was up 0.5% at 2,749.

The Asian markets remain strong this morning.

The Hang Seng is quoting at 20,202, stronger by 280 points and the Nikkei is at 9,963, higher by 31 points.

Straits Times is at 2,750, higher by 16 points, Seoul Composite is at 1,590, up 20 points and Taiwan Weighted is at 7,441, up 80 points.

Shanghai Composite has strengthened by four points at 2,987.

The Hang Seng is quoting at 20,193, stronger by 270 points or 1.3% and the Nikkei is at 9,963, higher by 31 points or 0.3%.

Straits Times is at 2,750, higher by 15 points or 0.5%), Seoul Composite is at 1,589, up 18 points or 1.2% and Taiwan Weighted is at 7,441, up 80 points or 1.1%.

Shanghai Composite has strengthened by 11 points or 0.4% at 2,994.
