Asian markets end positive; Hang Seng up 3%

The Hang Seng rallied 687 points or 3% to 21,821. The Nikkei zoomed 264 points or 3% to 9,345.

The Shanghai Composite Index advanced 99 points or 3%.

The Seoul Composite Index added 2% at 1,555 and the Taiwan Weighted Index was up 91 points at 7,582, respectively.

The Straits Times on the other hand was down 1% at 2,733.

The Hang Seng has rallied 696 points or 3% to 21,831. The Nikkei has advanced 209 points or 2% to 9,289.

The Shanghai Composite Index has added 71 points or 2% at 3,168.

The Seoul Composite Index has increased 36 points or 2% to 1,559 and the Taiwan Weighted Index has added 92 points or 1% at 7,582, respectively.

The Straits Times still remains in the negative, down 2% at 2,738.

The Hang Seng has advnaced 622 points or 3% to 21,757. The Nikkei has rallied 218 points or 2% to 9,298 as concerns about Dubai debt default eased.

The Shanghai Composite Index has added 42 points or 1% at 3,138.

The Seoul Composite Index has increased 32 points or 2% to 1,557 and the Taiwan Weighted Index is up 99 points or 1% at 7,589, respectively.

The Straits Times has on the other hand slipped 50 points or around 2% at 2,744.
