Asian markets flat; Nikkei gains

Asian markets are flat this morning.

The Nikkei has added 18 points to 10,105 after Canon raised its profit outlook. Trade, however, is cautious ahead of Honda Motors and Nissan Motors earnings report. The Hang Seng has dropped 177 points to 20,447.

The Straits Times has added nine points at 2,633.

The Taiwan Weighted has dipped 10 points to 7,133. The Shanghai Composite and the Seoul Composite are flat at 3,437 and 1,526, respectively.
