Asian markets trade higher

Asian markets are trading on a positive note this morning. The Hang Seng has jumped 117 points (0.5%) to 23,152.

The Straits Times has gained 35 points (1%) to 3,225. The Seoul Composite and Taiwan Weighted have added marginally in trades.

Shanghai Composite and Nikkei are shut today.
