In thin trading, barley prices declined by Rs 10 per quintal in the wholesale grains market today due to reduced offtake by consuming industries. Traders said reduced offtake by consuming industries against adequate stocks mainly led to the fall in barley prices. 

Other commodities, however, remained steady in the absence of worthwhile activity, they added. In the national capital, barley prices declined by Rs 10 to Rs 1,090-1,115 per quintal.
