Barley rises on fresh buying

In restricted activity, barley prices rose by Rs 20 per quintal in the wholesale grains market today on fresh buying by stockists on increased industrial demand.
Elsewhere, other commodities traded in a narrow range in restricted activity and settled around previous levels.
Traders said fresh buying by stockists on pick up in industrial demand mainly pushed up the wholesale barely prices.
Barley (U P) rose by Rs 20 to Rs 1,170-1,190 per quintal.
