Bharti Infratel dips after block deal

Shares of Bharti Infratel dipped by 3% to Rs 380 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after a huge block deal executed on the counter.

About 17.4 million equity shares, representing 0.92% stake of the company changed hands, the BSE data shows.

The names of buyers and sellers are not immediately known.

As of June 2015, Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) Pte held 19.6 million or 1.04% stake in Bharti Infratel, the shareholding pattern data shows.

Merrill Lynch Capital Markets Espana S.A.S V and Compassvale Investments Pte. Ltd held 1.87% and 1.58% stake in the company respectively.

At 10:24 AM, the stock was down 1% at Rs 388 on the BSE compared to a 1.58% or 415 points rise in the benchmark S&P BSE Sensex at 26,647.
