Bhel up 2.7%; TCS down 3.9%

The Nifty is trading 40 points lower at 4460.

Ranbaxy has gained 5.8% to Rs 526, Bhel has advanced 2.7% to Rs 1,375.Reliance Industries and Cipla are up 2% at Rs 2,163 and Rs 206, respectively.

Hindalco has gained 1.6% at Rs 176. L&T, Maruti and Reliance Infra are the other gainers.

HDFC is down 5.9% to Rs 2,206. HDFC Bank has declined 4.8% at Rs 1,183. TCS has lost 3.9% at Rs 915.

Satyam is down 3.5% to Rs 491. ITC has declined 3.4% to Rs 207. Infosys, Wipro, ONGC, Bharti, ICICI Bank, SBI and M&M are the other losers.
