Century Textiles has gained 3.5% on Rs 625 crore development plan of Century mill's land in Mumbai.
The stock today opened in the red at Rs 390 and slipped to a low of Rs 389. However, form there it surged 6% to touch a high of Rs 412. It is now up 3.5% at Rs 410. The counter has witnessed trading volumes of 94,187 shares so far on the BSE.
The company has decided to spend Rs 625 crore in the first phase of Century Mill's land development in Mumbai. This will include development of a commercial complex and rehabilitation of around 850 workers. The company will float a tender soon to select a construction company.
