Chana futuures for May declined by Rs 7, or 0.21%, to Rs 3,368 per quintal in 32,830 lots.

At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX), the April contract traded lower by Rs 6, or 0.18%, to Rs 3,326 per quintal in 71,650 lots.

Subdued spot market demand against higher arrivals from producing regions affected the trade.

Expectations of an increase in output also put pressure on chana futures trade.
