Gold Jewellery India International Exhibition 2005 will be organised by the World Gold Council and Madras Jewellers & Diamond Merchant's Association between May 20 and 22 at the Chennai Trade Centre. | |
| It will provide opportunities to gold jewellery, equipment, packaging and accessory enterprises in India and abroad to transact business with jewellery manufacturers, jewellery machinery and packaging manufacturers, importer, exporters, wholesalers and retailers, as well as others connected with the jewellery industry under one roof. |

| It would also provide opportunities to jewellery artisans, designers and others involved in the gold jewellery business to showcase trends and styles. |

| The fair is expected to attract around 150 jewellery manufacturers from centres like West Bengal, Maharashtra, Surat, Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. It was also likely to attract jewellery companies from Singapore, Italy, Turkey and Malaysia. |
