Dabur India ends up 2%

The stocks advanced 2% and finally ended at Rs 104. A total of 643,965 shares were traded on the BSE today.

Dabur India is trading at Rs 104, up 2% from yesterday's closing price of Rs 102.

This morning the stock opened flat at Rs 102. But the stocks surged to a high of Rs 106 in late noon trades following the announcement of its Q4 results. A total of 596,381 shares have been traded so far on the BSE.

According to a release issued by Dabur India to the BSE today, the net profit of the company increased 16% to Rs 91.72 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2009 as against Rs 78.79 crore for the corresponding quarter the previous year.

The total income increased 16% from Rs 533.9 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2008 to Rs 620.23 crore for the fourth quarter of FY09.
