Domestic traders offered selective support to Arabica coffee on sale at the Indian Coffee Trade Association (ICTA) auction on Thursday.
 
According to the auctioneers, Carritt Moran and Company, today's auction prices were ruling firm to dearer, while Arabica and Robusta Cherry secondary grades attracted good domestic enquiry.
 
The auction saw 425 tonne on offer for sale (last week 474 tonne), of which only 71 tonne was sold.
 
Arabica comprised 204 tonne, Robusta 221 tonne. Following are the prices quoted for grades in Rs/50kg. Arabica varieties: Arabica Plantation PB Rs 5,319 (6,000 kg), Arabica Plantation MNEB Rs 5,500 (2,600 kg), Arabica Plantation A Rs 5,450 (1,015 kg), Arabica Cherry PB Rs 3,759 (5,095 kg), Arabica Cherry AA Rs 4,708 (2,860 kg), Arabica Cherry B Rs 4,550 (1,611 kg) Arabica Cherry C Rs 3,250 (362 kg) and Arabica Cherry BBB 2,886 (17,065 kg).
