Diagnostic chain Dr Lal PathLabs has moved higher by 10% to Rs 908 on the BSE, extending its previous day’s 50% rally. On Wednesday, the stock closed at Rs 824 over its issue price of Rs 550.
Drug maker Alkem Laboratories too surged 10.5% at Rs 1,525 on the BSE. Yesterday, the stock closed at Rs 1,381, up 31.5% over its issue price of Rs 1,050 per share.
Alkem Laboratories and Dr Lal PathLabs had managed to mop up Rs 1,350 crore and Rs 632 crore, respectively, through their share sales, which closed on December 10. The issues were subscribed 44 times (Alkem) and 33 times (PathLabs).
At 03:11 p.m. Alkem Laboratories was up 10% at Rs 1,517 while Dr Lal PathLabs up 8% to Rs 893 on the BSE.
