Educomp Solutions has slipped 7.2% to Rs 280 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after the company reported its first quarter results.
The Q1 net profit of the company declined 1.5% to Rs 43.54 crore compared to Rs 44.21 crore during the same quarter of the previous fiscal. The total income came in at Rs 193.18 crore versus Rs 173.17 crore on a y-o-y basis.
The stock opened at Rs 296 and touched a high of Rs 301 in intra-day trades. As many as 1,91,000 shares have changed hands on the counter compared to its two-week average of 2,80,000 shares.
