Net profit for the March 2016 quarter jumped 364% to Rs 13.6 crore compared to Rs 2.9 crore in the same quarter last fiscal. Net sales for the quarter under review were higher by 30% at Rs 348.6 crore.
For the year ended March 31, 2016 net profit increased 174% to Rs 26.3 crore compared with Rs 9.6 crore in the last fiscal. However, net sales for the year were lower by 19% at Rs 1,278.2 crore compared to Rs 1,572.8 crore in the fiscal ended March 31, 2015.
The stock touched a high of Rs 51.80. At 10:25am, over 80,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
