At least four companies are likely to launch their initial public offerings (IPOs) next month. The four issues, including that of Adlabs Imagica and Ortel Communications, could raise as much as Rs 2,000 crore from the market.

Odisha-based cable operator and internet service provider Ortel Communications will launch its Rs 270-crore offering on March 3. This will be followed by the IPO of amusement park operator Adlabs Imagica, which is planning to raise around Rs 470 crore from the market. According to sources, Adlabs Imagica’s offering could hit the market on March 10.

Sadbhav Infrastructure Project, CL Educate, Power Mech and Manpasand Beverages are some of the other issues that could come to the market immediately after they obtain regulatory approvals.

Investment bankers say this year could see the revival of the IPO market, which has been subdued for the last two years.

Last year, only five companies had launched IPOs to raise a total of Rs 1,200 crore, the lowest in more than a decade.
