Shares of Gayatri Projects surged 10 per cent to Rs 74.3, after company's JV with Ratna Infrastructure Projects bagged a Rs 2,132 crore order from Andhra Pradesh government. The project which involves the construction of a 62-kilometre tail pond link canal is part of the Dummugudem-Nagarjuna Sagar project.

The stock made an intraday high of Rs 74.3 and a low of Rs 65.25 with trading volumes of 2.13 lakh shares. The scrip made a 52-week high of Rs 528 (February 25, 2008) and a low of Rs 65.25 (February 19, 2009).
