Gold at one-month high on Mumbai spot market

Gold prices on the Mumbai spot market hit a one month high at Rs 31,130 per 10 grams. The last time gold was above Rs 31,000 per 10 grams was on September 5.

Gold today was up by 0.5% from Saturday's close of Rs 30,965 per 10 grams.

Silver was also up in today's trade by Rs 700 per kilogram from Saturday's close of Rs 49,050 per kg. Today silver closed at Rs 49,750 per kg.
