Tracking a weak trend in the Asian region, gold futures prices fell by 0.20% to Rs 22,805 per 10 grams today.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for delivery in October shed Rs 46, or 0.20%, to Rs 22,805 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 12 lots.

The June contract traded Rs 22, or 0.10%, to Rs 22,285, with a business volume of a single lot.

Market analysts said a subdued trend in gold prices overseas, mainly kept pressure on the gold prices at futures trade here.

Meanwhile, the yellow metal fell by $3.50 to $1,530.30 an ounce in London.
