Grindwell Norton is trading higher by 4.4% to Rs 584 on BSE after Sundaram Smile Fund bought 400,000 shares of the company through open market.
On December 9, Sundaram Smile Fund had purchased 400,000 shares representing 0.72% stake of Grindwell Norton at price of Rs 580 per share on BSE, the bulk deal data shows.
The stock opened at Rs 573 and hit high of Rs 597 on BSE. On NSE, the stock up 4% at Rs 587, after hitting high of Rs 600 in early morning trade. A combined 32,943 shares changed hands on the counter till 1311 hours on NSE and BSE.
