Gur closes quiet in thin trade

The wholesale gur prices ended on a quiet note in the national capital today following restricted arrivals against sporadic demand.    

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also finished unchanged on little doings.

Marketmen said small buying support along with adequate stocks position, maintained gur prices around overnight levels.

Following were today's quotations in Rs per quintal.

Chakku Rs 2,400-2,450, pedi 2,550-2,600, Dhayya Rs 2,600-2,650 and Shakkar Rs 2,800-2,900
In Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 1,850-1,925, chakku Rs 2,300-2,400 and Khurpa Rs 2,150-2,200
In Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,350-2,500 and Dhaya Rs 2,350-2,400
