An investment of Rs 10 lakh in the Smart Portfolios benchmark, S&P CNX 500 index, is now worth Rs 10.76 lakh since its inception on September 1, 2009, despite a 3.7 per cent fall recently. In comparison, fund managers' returns till date range from seven per cent to 36 per cent each.
