IVRCL surges on new orders worth Rs 226 crore

The company's building and water divisions have received orders worth Rs 226.18 crore

Shares of IVRCL were up 6% at Rs 18 after the company announced that it has received fresh orders worth Rs 226.18 crore.

The Building Division has recieved orders worth Rs 163.12 crore from the Government of India, Department of Atomic Energy, Civil Engineering Division, Tamilnadu and an order worth Rs 86.04 lakhs from National Institute of Biomedical Genomics, Kalyani, the company said in a release.

The Water Division has won an order from Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board worth Rs 62.19 crore and an order worth Rs 57.50 lakhs from Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Hyderabad, the release added.

The stock opened at Rs 17.80 and touched a high of Rs 18.25. At 12:50PM, over 3.2 million shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
