JP Associates slumps 12% on stake sale by JP Infra Ventures

The stock opened at Rs 45 and touched a low of Rs 38.85 so far.

JP Associates has slumped by over 12% at Rs 40.20 after Jaypee Infra Ventures sold over 13 million shares on the National Stock Exchange.

Jaypee Infra Ventures sold 13,489,693 shares of Jaiprakash Associates at Rs 46.33 through a bulk deal, as per the data available on the National Stock Exchange.

In the previous trading session, the share closed at Rs 45.75, down Rs 1.45, or 3.07 percent.

The stock opened at Rs 45 and touched a low of Rs 38.85 so far. Over 68 million shares were traded on both the stock exchanges so far.
