Lacklustre movement continues

The markets have continued to be directionless and are trading quite flat.

The Sensex is now down 25 points at 17,465. The Nifty is flat at 5,231.

The markets continue to trade sideways after two straight days of gains.

The Sensex is now at 17,484 - down four points. The Nifty is up three points at 5,235.

Jaiprakash Associates has gained 2% at Rs 151.

SAIL, Infosys and DLF have added over 1% each to Rs 243, Rs 2,773 and Rs 317, respectively.

However, Mahindra & Mahindra has shed 2.3% at Rs 1,098. BPCL has slipped 2% to Rs 528.

ONGC and Sterlite have dropped 1.5% each to Rs 1,056 and Rs 821, respectively.

Maruti Suzuki, HCL Technologies, Wipro and Larsen & Toubro have dipped around 1% each.
