“The power transmission & distribution business has bagged orders worth Rs 517 crore, while business & factories business secured order worth of Rs 300 crore and water smart world & communication business won orders worth of Rs 282 crore,” L&T said in a statement.
The company has bagged a rural electrification project under Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) scheme in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, from Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited.
The stock opened at Rs 1,674 and hit a low of Rs 1,643 on the NSE. A combined around two million shares changed hands on the counter on the NSE and BSE.
