Markets down; Infosys slips 5%, Ranbaxy sheds 10%
The NSE Nifty is down 24 points at 4,025.
Ranbaxy has slumped 10% to Rs 478. Infosys has plunged over 5% to Rs 1,590, and Satyam has tumbled nearly 4% to Rs 427. TCS is down 3% at Rs 775, and Wipro has slipped 2.8% to Rs 401.
HDFC Bank has shed 3.6% at Rs 1,029. Jaiprakash Associates has dropped 3.3% to Rs 151.
DLF and ICICI Bank are down over 2% each at Rs 443 and Rs 579, respectively.
