Markets weak; Sterlite moves up
The Sensex is now down 252 points at 14,098.
The NSE Nifty is down 69 points at 4,263.
ICICI Bank has plunged 4% to Rs 637. Reliance Infrastructure has shed 3.5% at Rs 952.
Tata Motors, HDFC and Reliance Communications have slipped around 3% each to Rs 413, Rs 2,157 and Rs 498, respectively.
SBI has dropped 2.7% to Rs 1,379. DLF and Ranbaxy have declined 2.5% each to Rs 487 and Rs 482, respectively.
Jaiprakash Associates has shed 2.3% at Rs 158. Bharti Airtel, ACC and Larsen & Toubro have declined over 2% each to Rs 778, Rs 581 and Rs 2,668, respectively.
HDFC Bank, NTPC, Maruti and Hindalco are also down around 2% each.
Sterlite has gained 1% at Rs 589.
