Menthol rises on buying support

Menthol prices rose by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today on buying support from pharmaceutical units.

Tight stocks position due to fall in supplies from producing belts also influenced the prices.

Menthol bold crystal, menthol flake and mentha oil prices rose by Rs 5 each to Rs 1,050, Rs 1,015 and Rs 960 per kg, respectively. 

Marketmen said fresh buying support from pharma and other consuming industries, helped menthol prices to rise.
