Merrill Lynch exits MCX completely

Merrill Lynch Holdings sold its holdings in the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) in a bulk deal on Monday. It sold 1.42 million shares to Blackstone GPV Capital Partners through the BSE, according to exchange data.

The sale was at a share price of Rs 573 for a total value of Rs 81.49 crore. The stake was equal to its entire holdings in the company (2.79 per cent), according to the shareholding pattern filed by the company at the end of September.
