NBCC gains on bagging Rs 378 crore contracts

Shares of National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) have moved higher by 3.5% to Rs 794 on the NSE after the company said that it has bagged work orders amounting to Rs 378 crore for the construction of medical college campus & upgradation of the government district hospital in Rajasthan.

“Department of Medical Education, Govt of Rajasthan has awarded to National Buildings Construction Corporation Limited, projects for the construction of medical college campus for 100 MBBS admissions annually & upgradation of the government district hospital at Bharatpur & Dungarpur in Rajasthan involving total estimated cost Rs 378 crore,”  NBCC said in a statement.

The stock opened at Rs 771 and hit a low of Rs 768 on the NSE so far. A combined 313,156 shares changed hands on the counter on the NSE and BSE.

At 1134 hours, the stock was up 2% at Rs 782 on the NSE.
