The NSE Nifty has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 18 points at 4,209.
HDFC has plunged nearly 4% to Rs 2,178. Infosys has tumbled 3.6% to Rs 1,728.
Grasim has shed 2.8% at Rs 2,030. Satyam and ICICI Bank have slipped around 2% each to Rs 444 and Rs 692, respectively.
Tata Motors has dropped 1.8% to Rs 473. Wipro, DLF and ITC have declined 1.5% each to Rs 463, Rs 433 and Rs 188, respectively.
