Pistachio and almond prices drifted by up to Rs 50 in the local dry-fruits market today on sluggish demand from retailers at prevailing higher levels.

Market analysts said sluggish demand at prevailing higher levels mainly led to the fall in pistachio and almond prices.

In the national capital, pistachio Irani shed Rs 20 to Rs 680-730, while its other varieties such as Harati and Peshawari moved down by Rs 50 each to Rs 950-1,060 and Rs 1,160-1,260 per kg, respectively.
