Tight supplies from producing regions supported the price

Potato futures for April spurted by Rs 33.10, or 4% to Rs 861.50 per quintal in 423 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the March contract shot up by Rs 30.70, or 3.71% to Rs 858 per quintal in 660 lots.
Tight supplies from producing regions on foggy weather conditions supported the trade.
Also, pick-up in spot market demand supported the upside.
