Railway stocks dip on profit booking

Kalindee Rail, Texmaco Rail,Titagarh Wagons, Stone India and Cimmco were down 4-11% on BSE in early morning trade.

Shares of companies related to railways sector are under pressure and falling by up to 11% on the bourses in early morning trade on profit booking.

Kalindee Rail Nirman (down 11% at Rs 142), Texmaco Rail & Engineering (11% at Rs 141), Titagarh Wagons (9% at Rs 626), Stone India (5% at Rs 86) and Cimmco (4% at Rs 81) were down 4-11% on BSE. The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex was up 0.19% at 0941 hours.

Most of these stocks had rallied between 5-50% in past one week, compared with a fall of about one per cent in the benchmark Sensex till yesterday.
