Refined soya oil prices fell further by 80 paise to Rs 622.45 per 10 kg in futures trade today as traders booked profits at higher levels, influenced by fall in demand in the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in May fell by 80 paise, or 0.13% to Rs 622.45 per 10 kg, with a trading volume of four lots.

Similarly, the refined soya oil for delivery in June declined by 0.45 paise, or 0.07% to Rs 628.90 per 10 kg, with an open interest of five lots.

Traders attributed the decline in refined soya oil futures to profit-booking by speculators at prevailing higher levels on fall in spot demand.
