The Sensex is down 180 points to 15,152. The Nifty, meanwhile, is down 53 points at 4,510.

The BSE IT index has started recovering as well. The index is now at 3,761 - up 46 points from the day's low. The index is now down just 12 points from the previous close.
DLF has slumped 5.5% to Rs 403. Sterlite and Tata Steel have tumbled 4.5% each to Rs 627 and Rs 449, respectively.
Tata Motors, Reliance Infrasturcture, Sun Pharma, Jaiprakash Associates and Hindustan Unilever have dropped 2-3% each.
Hindalco, SBI, NTPC, BHEL, Larsen & Toubro, Reliance Communications, Bharti Airtel and Grasim are down marginally.
On the other hand, TCS has gained 3% at Rs 494. Mahindra & Mahindra and Wipro have added over 1% each.
The market breadth is failry negative. Out of 2,631 stocks traded 1,650 have declined while 901 have advanced.
Meanwhile, the Nifty is down 60 points at 4,503. The index has recovered 82 points from the day's low.
