Sensex down around 200pts; Bharti Airtel drops 3%
The Sensex is now down 195 points at 14,369.
Maruti has plunged 3.5% to Rs 627.
Ranbaxy, Tata Steel and Bharti Airtel have tumbled around 3% each to Rs 503, Rs 583 and Rs 813, respectively.
Hindustan Unilever has shed 2.5% at Rs 239. Jaiprakash Associates, Reliance Infrastrucutre and Sterlite have slipped over 2% each to Rs 160, Rs 969 and Rs 614, respectively.
NTPC, Reliance Communications, Tata Motors and Tata Power have dropped around 2% each to Rs 172, Rs 388, Rs 432 and Rs 1,032, respectively.
DLF, Infosys, ONGC, ICICI Bank and Larsen & Toubro are down around 1.5% each.
Out of 2,540 stocks traded so far, 1,320 have declined, 1,133 have advanced and 87 are unchanged.
